As the seasons change, not only does the spring of 2023 arrive as scheduled, but also we, fully resuming work after the pandemic, and the projects that are restarting one by one. Against the backdrop of national support for "internal circulation" and "domestic substitution," TQPUMPS has increased its R&D efforts and investment. After two years of development, the third-generation horizontal energy-saving circulation pump series, TPW, was finally launched in 2023. Designed and planned with the same performance and structure as international products, and combined with over 20 years of domestic circulation pump usage experience, this series strives to provide end customers in HVAC, industrial processes, and water supply with a cost-effective, top-tier "domestic substitute" circulation pump that rivals European and American products. Let's take a closer look!


The TPW horizontal end suction circulation pump is a horizontal single-stage single-suction (axial suction) centrifugal pump, with both the inlet and outlet of the pump connected to the pipeline via flanges. It is equipped with a 380V/50Hz/IE3 or IE4 series B35 (base with anchor bolts, end cover with flange) type special motor and an unbalanced mechanical seal.


The design temperature of TPW series of products is 120°C. The design pressure of pump with nominal head 80m is 16 Bar, and the wall thickness of inlet and outlet flange and pressure boundary is design as 16 Bar. For the nominal head 125m pump, the design pressure is 25 Bar, the inlet flange is PN16, and the outlet flange and wall thickness are PN25.


The nominal diameter of the pump inlet mostly is large than the outlet according to ISO2858 standard. The inlet is axial inhalation, the inlet diameter is reasonably selected and determined according to the flow rate, and the outlet is the upward center discharge. The impeller is installed design has considered the axial force balance. The pump case and motor stool are equipped with replaceable sealing rings (pumps below DN65 & head 32m shall only set the front sealing ring on the pump casing) to ensure long-time efficient operation of the pump and improve the versatility of the motor stool. The pump is not equipped with bearings. The radial forces and axial forces are borne by the motor bearings. The pump and motor are fixed on the common base through the bolts connection.


Product Main Features:


01 Wide Range of Allowable Operation


Hydraulic optimization design of the pump's flow components reduces energy consumption, offering a wide range of efficient operation from 0.7Qn to 1.2Qn, wider than GB/T13007 B line. In the catalogue, specific head, shaft power, and net positive suction head (NPSH) indicators are given for five flow points: 0.7Qn, 0.85Qn, 1.0Qn, 1.1Qn, and 1.2Qn.


The outer diameter of the impeller after cutting is determined according to the rated output power of the motor at the shaft power at 1.2Qn flow point to facilitate the operation of the motor in the efficient area, safe and reliable.


Suitable pump inlet diameter design, maintain reasonable inlet flow rate, reduce loss, ensure high efficiency while taking into account high corrosion resistance.


02 Compact Structure, Small Footprint


The overall structure of the pump is advanced and reasonable, with a direct-coupled pump design that reduces the footprint


03 Advanced Technology, Higher Configuration


The impeller adopts metal mold and precision casting made by CNC machining center. The design flow channel center and the machining reference center have high coincidence degree, and better hydraulic and mechanical balance, making the pump operation more stable.


The pump body and cover are designed in 3D before being machined by CNC; castings are made using coated sand casting technology, machine molded, with casting dimension accuracy reaching CT7 level, and casting surface roughness below 12.5μm; castings are machined in one setup on our imported dual-table CNC machining center, achieving micron-level machining precision, ensuring all processed parts meet dimensional and geometric tolerances.


After machining, castings undergo protection before cataphoretic treatment to improve corrosion resistance, with DN250 and above pump bodies painted in blue or black.


04 Convenient After-sales, Effort-saving Maintenance


The pump casing is equipped with replaceable sealing rings to ensure the pump remains highly efficient at all times.


Three different base designs facilitate inspection and maintenance; besides the common bent base and structural steel welded base, our company specifically adopts a structural steel welded base for pump sets equipped with 45kW~315kW motors, setting rollers on the base and jacking screws on the pump cover to conveniently disassemble the combination part of the motor, pump cover, and impeller for maintenance without needing to move the pump body's connecting pipelines or foundation.
